My Journey with Music

Music has been a huge part of my life. It really affects how I feel. It helps me process emotions. Music is a way for me to balance my emotions. It is not that I just listen to music, music connects with my feelings and thoughts. No matter if I am happy, sad, stressed or relaxed there is always a song that connects with my mood. When I am down or too stressed out, listening to slow music helps me process my thoughts. Slow music calms me down and makes me reflect on my feelings. It’s like the music understands how I feel and so helps me feel better without having to say anything.  It makes me feel less alone and a bit more relaxed. I listen to upbeat music when I am happy or energized. Music like this brings me happiness. It gives me positive energy. Often I sing along, and dance to the beat which just adds fuel to my happiness and energy. The other thing music is awesome for is blowing off steam.
